- Two coat system of Cabot Factory Finish oil-based primer and Topcoat of Cabot Factory Finish applied to the exposed face and edges at 6 mil wet thickness (100% acrylic)
- Only the finest brands of cedar are used
- Available in any Cabot color as well as custom colors
- Highly durable finish with 15 year warranty* against cracking, peeling, blistering, chalking, discoloring, etc.
- Warranty may be extended for additional 15 years (see actual warranty for details)
- Approximate two week delivery
- No warranty against cedar bleed
*Must be field coated for 15 year warranty.
Clapboard Nailing Information
- DO NOT nail through overlapping pieces. End nails should be pre-drilled to avoid splitting.
- USE stainless steel or aluminum nails with ring or spiral threaded shanks.
- Nails should be 16" O.C. and must penetrate a stud 1-1/4".
- Usage - approximately 3/4 pound/square.
